Postcard dating from approx. 1920 showing
Fairfax Hall, Basic, Va. as a two story
building. The text on the reverse states:

BASIC, VA. - A town of 2500 inhabitants
situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge
Mountains in the Valley of Virginia. The town
has good railroad facilities, fine climate and
scenery, and the Lithia water supply is
reported by the Chief Sanitary Engineer of the
State to be the best in Virginia. In Basic is
located Fairfax Hall, a home-like and
handsomely appointed school for girls, while
across South River, in the twin city of
Waynesboro, is Fishburne Military School, a
well known academy for boys.
